I taught one section of a six-week semester known as Wintersession, which consisted of 13 five-hour classes held twice a week. I developed a curriculum that included basic html and css, and a brief overview of javascript. I walked the students through setting up a domain name and hosting so that they could self-sufficiently create new web projects outside of my class. Attention was paid to learning about the web design process, as well as issues relating to web standards and accessibility.

[recent news] inspired type face
This summer I was lucky enough to spend a week in the mountains of North Carolina, in a little slice of heaven known as Montreat College near Asheville. One of my favorite structures on campus is the stone bridge at the entrance, and I am in the process of creating a type face inspired by the lettering incorporated into the stonework.
